RED SEAL AUTO BODY EXPERTISE IN EDMONTON

Old school workmanship. Modern protection.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a clear physical barrier that takes the hit from gravel, road debris and daily driving so your paint does not have to. If you commute on highways, drive gravel approach roads or simply want to keep a vehicle's front end honest, film is the protection that actually absorbs impacts.
Coating alone cannot do this job. Coating protects against contamination and makes cleaning easier; film is what stands between your paint and the stones thrown at it every day on Alberta roads.
Tell us about your vehicle. Kay will review the details and recommend the right next step.
WHAT PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF) DOES
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
Most customers choose coverage based on where their vehicle actually takes damage. These are the common areas, not fixed packages, and the right setup for your vehicle gets settled when Kay reviews your request.
01
Partial front: the leading edges most exposed to chips, such as the bumper and hood front
02
Full front: bumper, full hood, fenders, mirror caps and headlights
03
High-impact accents: door cups, door edges, rocker panels, load sills and the top of the rear bumper where boots and cargo scuff
04
Larger coverage: more of the vehicle wrapped in film for drivers who want maximum defence
Film is armour. Coating is a sacrificial glossy layer that keeps paint clean and easy to wash. They solve different problems, which is why so many customers combine them: film on the impact zones, coating over the rest. If your budget only allows one right now, Kay will give you an honest recommendation based on how and where you drive.
PPF installation is all about precision and protection. Professionally installed for a clean, seamless finish, your film helps guard vulnerable paint from everyday road wear. Proper aftercare keeps it looking clear, smooth and protected for years to come.
01
Inspection. We assess the paint first. Film seals in whatever is underneath, so existing damage needs to be dealt with or accepted before installation
02
Preparation. Decontamination and any correction the paint needs before film goes on
03
Installation. Film is laid panel by panel under controlled conditions by our team, with Kay overseeing the work. Edges and curves are where installation skill shows
04
Aftercare. You get clear washing and care guidance so the film stays looking right for the long run
Every vehicle and every owner's priorities are different, so PPF is quoted individually. The main factors are:
01
The vehicle: its size, shape and how complex the panels are
02
Coverage: partial front, full front, high-impact accents or larger coverage
03
Paint condition: whether correction is needed before installation
04
Film choice: we will walk you through the options that suit your vehicle and budget
Worth knowing
Film where the chips land, coating where the gloss matters. Ask about combining Paint Protection Film (PPF) with a Ceramic Pro coating when you request your quote and Kay will lay out how the two work together.
Questions
Will PPF change how my vehicle looks?
Quality film installed by people who know what they are doing is very hard to spot. Fitment around edges, curves and badges is exactly where installation experience matters, and it is where our body-shop background shows.
Can film be applied to only part of the vehicle?
Yes. Partial front, full front and high-impact accent coverage are all common. We will recommend coverage based on where your vehicle actually takes damage, not a fixed menu.
Does my paint need to be perfect before film goes on?
Film locks in the condition underneath it. We inspect the paint with you first, and if correction is worthwhile we will say so honestly before anything is installed.
Which film do you use?
We are completing our Ceramic Pro onboarding and will publish film details and warranty information once everything is confirmed on our end. In the meantime, ask us and we will walk you through the current options.
